Vintage neon artwork to be restored at CMU

Vintage neon specialists will be at Central Michigan University on Monday, April 30, to complete refurbishing “Noah’s Neon 1,” of one of CMU’s most important artworks.

People are invited to watch as Josh and Becky Averill of The Bends Glassworks and Tom Dymora finish the restoration of this rare piece of historical neon to its original splendor in a “The Glow Returns” event from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Baber Room at CMU’s Park Library, 250 East Preston St., Mount Pleasant.
